Welcome to AMP Circular, a platform under the Allmould Plastics Group that is dedicated to managing circular and recycling programs across both public and private sectors in Australia.
All Mould Plastics Group directors are focused on tackling the growing concern surrounding environmental sustainability issues and their effect on our generational livelihoods, and living conditions.
With the majority of commercial decisions proving to be financially driven, with little to no thought on the environmental repercussions, AMP Circular seeks to develop innovative methods to reuse materials and create new plastics in an endless loop. We aim to extend the usage of these materials and polymers far into the future.
Consider a throwaway virgin plastic part used in the medical industry; the potential for many uses through careful collection, re-granulation, and integration into a product, allows a lifespan greater than two decades.
According to University Studies, a whopping 7.2 kg is wasted on average each bed. The majority of this waste is made up of single-use plastics, which, if collected and organised, could fuel a sustainable circular economy.
The Chinese waste export ban comes into effect in mid 2024, leaving Australia on the eve of a huge rubbish conflict, in which Australia must recycle around 650,000 additional tonnes of waste plastic, paper, glass and tyres each year.
Allmould Plastics Group has the experience, contracts, knowledge, and tools necessary to transform ready-made components and goods—primarily comprised of polypropylene—into new life products.
With plastic divisions in Packaging, Construction, Medical and Specialised custom plastic moulding sectors, our route to market is already established.
We urge our customers to be receptive to using recycled materials in their goods, centring on what proportion of the finished product is made of recycled materials, contributing to our goal of “closing the green loop”.
All conversations on materials and feed sources/stocks that can be recycled and circulated within the injection plastic moulding process are welcome at AMP Circular.
